I'm Michelle , and I love photographing people in love !

My aim has always been to produce elegant and romantic, yet relaxed and fun, timeless images. I love to capture honest and reflective photographs of your day- I'm drawn to the raw, unfiltered moments that often go unnoticed. The tears of joy that glisten in your eyes, the gentle clasping of hands the details you so carefully chose, the moments amongst you and your loved ones and then you as a couple giving you those gorgeous portraits that you will hang on your walls with pride.

THINGS YOU MAY LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT ME …

• When I'm not immersed in the world of photography, you are likely to find me cooking up a feast in the kitchen- I am food obsessed and a pretty decent cook !

• I like to meditate.

• My Favourite holidays are where I am surrounded by mountains and lakes.

• Prior to photography I was a pre school teacher for 15 years . I also have a diploma in child psychology

• My favourite TV show’s are Grey’s Anatomy , Friend’s and anything cookery related

• Stag’s are my favourite animal - graceful , elegant and magnificent

  In August 2018 I myself got married to my husband Chris who is a filmmaker/photographer . He is my best friend, my travel buddy, my coffee maker and he always has my back. We live together and work together but I could always spend more hours with him. However, I can’t tell you how crazy he drives me when he leaves his shoes outside the door of the shoe cupboard!

  I feel blessed to do what I do for a career and meeting new people is such a highlight of my job.

  Why choose me ??…. I like to make people feel relaxed, I like to chat and have a giggle ( it’s my secret power to help you relax) sometimes I can even be quite comical ( just sometimes), I have a modern yet timeless style of photography. I am a farmers daughter and so laying in the grass or climbing into bushes to get “the shot” is what I was born to do. Climb a gate - no problem! I come armed with welly boots! I am an all round nice kinda girl :) I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible . Need my help - I have your back! On your wedding day I am not just a photographer - I am a button hole fixer, bouquet holder, fetcher of items, calmer of nerve’s, sometimes a witness and whatever else you may need me to be. I like to pick out details and tell a story. I am used to all sorts of weather situations ….   *I only take on FULL DAY WEDDINGS (8+ hours) when working with Chris, my husband in either of the two following ways

  • He works as my second shooter in photography which means you get more photos , different angles , and he can be in different places - for example whilst I am carrying out group photo’s he can be taking natural photo’s ! ( you only need to send me a contact form for this option ) or

  • You book him as your videographer for the day ( for this option you will also need to send him a contact form at North Summit Films )
